This drug should not be given to horses with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to Furosemide or any of the other ingredients of the drug.
Do not use this drug in larger or smaller lots or inADE class 3 or 4.
Because this drug has a toxic effect on horse tissues, the use of the drug should not be used for longer than recommended by veterinarian. This drug should not be used for prolonged or repeated periods unless advised by your veterinarian.

Pre-treatment of horses with horses with edema: Treatment with furosemide should be administered as soon as possible after the horse is out of water, but should be continued for at least 7 days after the horse is out of water.
